It’s been a while since we began our journey through the Cape Winelands, but we finally find ourselves at part two of our exploration of the Western Cape wine scene.

As we mentioned in our first blog of this series, it’s not only the ideal weather conditions of the Cape Winelands that result in this region producing world-class wine, it’s also the culture among the winemakers – one of collaboration and community outreach, instead of competition.
Here are two more of the Cape Winelands’ top wine estates.
Delaire Graff Estate
Nestled between the mountains and overlooking the expansive vineyards of Stellenbosch, lies Delaire Graff Estate. The focus of the estate is that of luxury, glamour exclusivity and of course, incredible wine. Their winemaker, Morne Vrey, has a bold and honest approach to winemaking – to maintain the integrity of the grape without over-manipulation. Their wines rank among the Southern Hemisphere’s most prestigious. Delaire Graff has also been awarded First Growth status in South Africa – an award for creating the country’s most sought-after wines in first pressing. The award-winning wine is made only better by the exquisite mountain views, incredible architecture, original art and beautifully manicured gardens of the estate.
Morgenster Estate
Morgenster Estate is a family-owned and family-run estate that dates back 300 years.
