Botswana is primarily a safari destination. Untamed and untameable, it is one of the last great refuges for Nature’s magnificent pageantry of life. The first – and most lasting impressions – will be of vast expanses of uninhabited wilderness stretching from horizon to horizon, the sensation of limitless space, astoundingly rich wildlife and bird viewing, night skies littered with brilliantly shining stars, and stunning sunsets of unearthly beauty.
Over 38 percent of Botswana’s total land area is devoted to national parks, game reserves and wildlife management areas. These areas are mostly unfenced, allowing animals to roam wild and free over vast tracts of African bush. Experience the stunning beauty of the world’s largest inland Delta – the Okavango, the other-worldliness of the remote and semi-arid Kalahari Desert and the astoundingly prolific wildlife of the Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve. Botswana is the last stronghold for a number of endangered bird and mammal species, including Wild Dog, Cheetah, Brown Hyena, Cape Vulture, Wattled Crane, Kori Bustard, and Pel’s Fishing Owl, making for an even more memorable safari experience.
Botswana has several of the largest and most isolated game sanctuaries in Southern Africa and many areas are accessible only by light aircraft. The Botswana government has also pursued a low-impact tourism policy. This means that there is no mass tourism in Botswana and a Botswana safari is guaranteed to be exclusive and unique.

My passion for travel began at a young age. I was fortunate enough to visit Mozambique when I was 10 years old and I fell in love with Africa and travelling. Not being sure what I wanted to study after leaving school, I decided to travel to Israel and work on a kibbutz. The travel bug bit and for the next 10 years I worked abroad in various countries.
Africa has always been in my heart and I returned home and began working in the travel industry. I have been in the travel industry since 2005. My career started as a travel consultant where I mostly focused on flight bookings and sending South Africans out into the world. After 10 years I was ready for a change and changed the direction of my clients travelling. I now have the privilege of bringing the world to Africa. I began my journey with Pembury Tours in 2015.
I am family-oriented and enjoy a good laugh. My passion is people and travel so putting together an African dream holiday tour is a joy and a blessing!
