Excellent Safari & SA Holiday! This is our first safari & South Africa trip and we were skeptical to book tour via online agency initially… but upon interacting with our tour consultant, Melanie, via multiple emails, her prompt responses and helpful information gave us all the assurance we needed. We’re really pleased with Melanie’s service and support over our 13D12N holiday, every detail was thought through and hotel, restaurant recommendations were all very excellent. We’d the most amazing time in Kruger National Park, Victoria Fall and Cape Town. We did have a small hiccup with a local guide in Cape Town, but Melanie was quick to respond and resolve the issue efficiently. We’re truly thankful to have her as our tour consultant, she has made a real difference and dispelled the stress and anxiety tourists may have in traveling to SA. We loved our trip to Africa Overall our trip arranged by Heidi was terrific. We travelled from Cape Town to the Serengeti. All of our accommodations were great except for our stay in Arusha and Victoria Falls. The Illala Lodge in Victoria Falls was convenient for walking to the falls, but we learned that it was not hard to stay in a more remote spot and shuttle to the falls. The Illala was noisy due to local nightclubs. The sister lodge to Illala named Palm River would have been perfect. The Sheraton in Arusha was not good. You don’t feel comfortable leaving the premises. We learned there are places outside the city that are more guest friendly. Stays in Cape Town, Franschhoek, Sabi Sands and the Serengeti were fantastic. Our trip in total was great and look forward to doing it again.Posted on Tripadvisor
Ben S46 days agoTrip of a lifetime We had a wonderful experience and trip arranged by Tammy at Pembury Tours. She was always very prompt with responses regarding concerns or changes to our itinerary. We were provided with excellent and detailed documentation of every step of our tour, both online and printed. The guided tours that were arranged for us were excellent, both in Victoria Falls and Cape Town. All of our transfers and flights between locations within Africa were punctual and hassle-free. Our itinerary was as follows: 2 nights in Johannesburg - Da Vinci Suites 4 nights in Dulini Lodge in Sabi Sands (near Kruger) - first class lodging with excellent game drives. 1 night in White River (stop over) 2 nights Victoria Falls - Victoria Falls Hotel 3 nights Ngoma Lodge in Chobe - fabulous lodge 2 nights Shinde Lodge in Okavango Delta - a little more rustic but still very nice with great service 3 nights Cape Town - Radisson Blu near V&A WaterfrontPosted on Tripadvisor
Dr Michael E54 days agoAn Unforgettable African Journey We Have just returned from a month long trip which Kerry Ririe from Pembury Tours arranged for our family of 3. Kerry has already sent us on remarkable vacations to South Africa, Botswana and even Zimbabwe. This time Kerry organized another trip of a lifetime with a Self drive through Namibia, stops in South Africa and concluding at the Beaches in Mozambique. Kerry's careful attention to detail and meticulous planning resulted in a fabulous custom itinerary. The many flights, the luxury lodges, the numerous transfers, and even the activities, including the safaris, were flawless. Kerry has been always extremely patient to all my requests and questions which she continually answered very quickly. In fact Kerry was even available throughout our trip. Very minor glitches were immediately and easily resolved by Kerry! Kerry's advice and recommendations and attention to details, were outstanding. Finally Kerry included The Travel Portal and even a paper copy of our itinerary - both very helpful. Of course I highly recommend Kerry and Pembury Tours. Xiaomei W64 days agoExcellent Agent Makes Excellent Trip! Our travel agent, Anya, made this an absolutely wonderful trip. From the very beginning, she put a great deal of thought into planning our itinerary, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Every destination matched her descriptions remarkably well. The information she provided was accurate and detailed, so we knew exactly what to expect at each stop. Thanks to her careful planning, we truly had an amazing experience. To be honest, we did have some concerns at first. We booked our trip very early—about seven or eight months in advance. During that time, Anya was away several times, either on personal vacations or work trips. There seemed no back up person in her absence. However, once our trip began, Anya was on top of everything every single minute. We encountered several unexpected challenges along the way. Flight delays caused us to miss a connection, so we had to rebook flights, adjust our itinerary. Throughout it all, Anya remained calm, responsive, and incredibly efficient. She immediately took care of every issue and continuously followed up with us during the trip, including helping us find last-minute accommodations, rearrange transportation, deal with lost luggage. She is truly an outstanding travel agent. Even after our trip ended, she continued to provide exceptional support by helping us gather the necessary documents and assisting with our travel insurance claim. kjj66 days agoLeopards galore Excellent service from beginning to end !! We so enjoyed our safari at Nkorho and Arathusa lodges. Our guides were amazing fonts of knowledge and fun especially Ruan at Nkorho At Nkorho there is also a lovely swimming pool with an amazing view and thankfully a well equipped gym as the food is amazing ! Thankyou to Melanie for all your kind consideration in organising such a lovely trip, your personalised itinerary with its beautiful photography was much appreciated too.Posted on TripadvisorAnne G86 days agoPerfection I decided to use Pembury Tours to book our trip to Africa as I thought it would be good to use a local agent rather than booking a group tour from Australia. We are so glad that we did. Everything went smoothly. Every transfer perfect. Even getting through customs in Zimbabwe went perfectly. We had the most amazing African adventure and I owe it all to Tammy at Pembury Tours. Her planning was impeccable. Tammy also worked within our limited budget and nothing was a trouble. Tammy’s responses and many emails were prompt and meant we felt comfortable using an agent so far away. I cannot recommend this company high enough.

Shivraman G112 days agoGreat itinerary, perfect execution and timely communication I was traveling to South Africa for work, and was looking to extend the trip to do safari in Kruger National Park. I had never been to Africa before, and had no idea what to expect. Tammy Harding from Pembury created an itinerary that included lodging in two different private reserves in Greater Kruger National Park. The choice of the two private reserves was ideal, which I could appreciate only after the completion of our trip as this was my first visit to the African continent. All the arrangements were fantastic (airport pickups, lodgings), and communication prompt and timely. Tammy's guidance on local weather conditions at the time of our visit, necessary vaccination (none for our case as our travel was restricted to South Africa) and corresponding packing list was spot on. Thanks, and for my next trip with family, i will definitely go to the team at Pembury.

Sam P113 days agoHoliday of a lifetime. We have just returned to Western Australia after a fantastic 19 day tour of Zambia, Botswana and S Africa organised buy Tammy of Pembury Tours. All we booked was the Qantas return flights and Pembury did the rest. It was the best holiday we have ever had. It was a pleasure dealing with Tammy and Pembury Tours and we highly recommend them to anyone considering a holiday in Africa

Roam10728704739118 days agoBeyond words This was the trip of a lifetime and Gail with Pembury Tours didn’t miss a single detail. We had so many amazing experiences but she also had just the perfect amount of down time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We had the best guides and our accommodations were spectacular. Every thing about this trip way exceeded our expectations and I believe that is because of the time and attention to detail that Gail gave in meeting our request. I would recommend this trip to anyone and make sure you let Gail help you plan it.

Vicu122 days agoThe Perfect Vacation to South Africa Gail with Pembury Tours was the perfect travel agent for our first trip to South Africa. Our accommodations in Sabi Sands were perfect as well as our other 3 locations. Even making a last-minute change on our last location due to weather conditions. The 3 domestic flights that she arranged with private transportation made our trip so easy. Our private tours were with professional individuals that truly loved their jobs.

Bubblesmiller125 days agoThank you again Anya Anya from Pembury Tours planned a perfect 9 day trip to Botswana ( Delta) and Zambia for my wife and I with the perfect mix of 3 luxury lodges that complimented each other nicely. Land based lodge followed by a water/ island lodge and wrapped up with the fantastic Mukwa River lodge right on the mighty Zambezi river bank. The trip all went to plan with the organised assistance at the various airports certainly appreciated. Darcy415128 days agoPerfect in Every Way Perfect in Every Way! 5/5 Anya, at Pembery Tours, planned a three week holiday in South Africa. From our initial contact, Anya listened carefully to our desires and dreams for this once-in-lifetime tour. Since we had never visited SA or done a safari before, we had a ton of questions and were quite daunted by the process. Anya’s experience touring herself, as well as years of planning for others, cut through the confusion easily and we were soon presented with some amazing tour options. And these weren’t cookie cutter tours, but ones that included some less common options, especially Swartland, a newer and less visited wine region that my husband had been reading about. Anya reached out to wineries that don’t often accept visitors and other desired experiences, such as a visit with some specialized nonprofits in Cape Town - every request we made was met with a helpful and enthusiastic response. We loved EVERYTHING about our trip and, upon reflection since we have been home, would not change a thing. The itinerary, the two safaris, the hotels, the flights, the restaurant recommendations…. all top-notch. I could go on and on… A final comment - Pembery works with great partners. Our many drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and fun. We learned so much from each of them and and they made each day memorable and rich. We left SA considering them as friends. During the planning process Tammy was extremely patient and helpful in responding to our numerous questions and giving advice on where to stay and what to do. From arriving in Cape Town, taking the garden route to Knysna, St Francis Bay, Pemba game reserve and flying back to Franschhoek. Everything went like clockwork and was as promised. Tammy remained extremely helpful all through our trip and seemed genuinely interested in how things were going. We never felt like we were just another customer. Tammy even arranged a doctor’s appointment for my wife immediately we asked for some advice. The travel portal was a great asset for everything to do with the trip and we used it virtually every day. Pembury had also arranged for a paper copy of everything to be given to us by our transfer driver when we arrived in Cape Town. Simon G150 days agoExcellent tour operator delivering seamless, stress-free travel We had an absolutely brilliant trip to South Africa, and I can’t recommend (Tammy from) Pembury Tours highly enough. From the very beginning, the advice and planning were outstanding and the entire holiday was put together seamlessly - from flights, to hotels, to the hire car and everything in between. The whole experience from the safari to the drive along the beautiful Garden Route was unforgettable. Every hotel we stayed in was unique, welcoming, and exceptional. It honestly felt like each stop could have been a destination in itself. Throughout the trip everything ran smoothly and all the information provided beforehand made things incredibly easy for us. A real highlight was the Travel Portal which beautifully documented every part of the trip. Vicki C S217 days agoThe absolute best service Susan was recommended to us by a friend of a friend, and I am *so* grateful she was! We were planning a trip to South Africa, and were overwhelmed by choices and really unsure how to choose between them. Susan gave us excellent advice and made some superb recommendations, from which we picked Umlani Bush Camp from the Timbavati reserve. Susan took care of all the arrangements, and sent us a super useful itinerary and travel guide, which we relied upon heavily throughout our South African adventure. She also helped us find a hotel in Johannesburg and gave us really good advice about building our itinerary there.We had the most magical four nights at Umlani. It was everything Susan had said, and more. And she was available on email and WhatsApp throughout the period leading up to our stay and during it. We were confident that we were well informed, well supported and enthusiastically cared for. Pablo223 days agoSouth Africa We are grateful to Anya and her Pembury team for planning our fantastic South African Tour. We miss South Africa already. All of the arrangements Anya made for the tour were spot on from the greetings and transfers from the airports, the hotels, tours and activities. Every aspect progressed smoothly in a professional, friendly and timely matter. Anya took our requests seriously including the pace of the trip, the choice and location of the hotels and the activities. The restaurants and hotels were genuinely happy to share our anniversary with us which made the visits even more special. We have a better understanding of the beauty of South Africa, its people, its animal treasures and especially its food as we tried lots and lots of food. The safari at Seti exceeded our expectations as we saw the big 5. Planned activities at Victoria Falls, Sabi Sabi, Cape Town and Franschhoek were all memorable and highly enjoyed. Thank you so much Kerry for working with us to design a fabulous custom itinerary. Travelling between 7 different locations in 4 countries in a 3 week trip we're sure was a logistical challenge. We could appreciate the complexities of arranging all the local flights, road transfers, personal guide excursions, border crossings, site-seeing activities, safari destinations, the river cruise and fabulous accommodations everywhere. You did an amazing job coordinating every step of our journey as everything went unbelievably smoothly. Small, intimate, and each with a unique wildlife experience. Susan has sent us on remarkable tours of South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, and Malawi. It was our first time visiting South Africa, Botswana and Vic Falls and I must say the trip was flawless! Amazing scenery in the Okavango Delta, beautiful set up in Chobe with a completely different environment and habitat and an ending in Vic falls. Everything was super well organized, well catered and balanced.Susan was absolutely amazing, responsive and attentive to all the details. Always available for questions despite last minute changes from our part. Looking forward to planning another trip with this amazing company. perrymans731309 days agoA Flawlessly Organised Trip to Kenya At very short notice, Susan at Pembury Tours organised us the most amazing family holiday in Kenya. We were flying in from all over the world, but that was no issue for Susan - she seamlessly arranged us airport transfers, day trips in Nairobi and the ultimate which was a 5 day excursion to the Masai Mara. The service and communication before and every day during the holiday was faultless. From the very beginning, Kerry was amazing. She really listened to what we wanted, was super responsive to all our questions and ideas, and somehow turned our wishlist into the trip of a lifetime.Our adventure took us through Cape Town, Timbavati Game Reserve, Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park in Botswana, Lake Malawi, and Liwonde National Park in Malawi. Connie E319 days agoA Seamless Experience Combining Unique Experiences and Wonderful Guides We had a fantastic tour of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia planned by Melanie from Pembury tours. Coming from the USA, it takes a lot of time to get to the continent; so, we wanted to spend time doing a variety of things. Melanie, though countless emails with my never-ending questions, helped us a plan a 16-day trip which not only afforded us rare animal sightings, but provided unique opportunities to meet some of the kindest, most intelligent locals along the way.Each day we were picked up by car or van and whisked away on an adventure by an expert guide. We toured Cape Town with a retired lawyer who knew Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela. We hiked atop Table Mountain and toured Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens with a local guide who climbs and hikes around the world. We watched a female Southern Right Whale and her calf play next to our boat for 45 minutes. We saw endangered Cape Penguins up close.In Sabi Sands, we saw the Big Five more than twice with Roy, who is a third generation guide, and we have some fantastic photos and stories to share with our friends and family. I have to admit, we originally thought we might just book a cabin in Kruger itself to save money. Now I understand why it's important that the private reserves in Sabi Sands allow the drivers to go off road to get closer to the animals. The drivers and trackers were amazing. We were so close to wild dogs and hyenas tearing their kills from limb to limb. Yet, we felt safe and well cared for. It was unbelievable seeing animals in the wild. We had many sighting of animals with their young and had fantastic meals at the lodge. Melanie even arranged for the lodge to celebrate my husband's birthday with cake and champagne at sunset out on safari.In Zimbabwe, we joined small group tours and bonded with people from all over the world. We saw five endangered black rhinos, swam in Devil's Pool atop Victoria Falls on Livingston Island, and loved our day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana among other things. Going through customs from country to country was a breeze as Melanie made sure we had purchased the correct VISA's in advance and our transfer drivers and guides were so professional. Melanie was just a phone call or WhatsApp message away, but our complicated trip ran like clockwork. Sandy C323 days agoAmazing African experience I don’t have enough comment space to share all the ways in which Anya Jarvis at Pembury Tours made our recent trip 2 week to Africa in September 2025 completely seamless, stress free and absolutely over the top. Communication was always clear and timely. Our group consisted of eight adults ages 53-87 and she skillfully planned an itinerary that was great for all ages and abilities with opportunities for individualizing any free time for additional exploration. We started in South Africa, flew to Zimbabwe then off to Botswana for both bush and delta safari experiences. Airport attendants, drivers, accommodations and reservations (including a very last minute added hotel reservation and change in pick up plans due to a cancelled flight) were top notch. We were a group of two families (4 adults and 5 kids with age range of 8-16) and Kerry made our experience flow seamlessly. She researched and accommodated all of our requests, some of which came in while in transit and during our adventure. It was extremely comforting to have everything organized for us so that we knew that we had pick ups and transfers, guides to take us wherever we wanted and accommodation that was family friendly but also delivering the perfect safari/bush lodge style that we were hoping. Our travels took us into South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia and I cant think of a thing that we didn't do that was on the 'wish list' but due to Pembury's delivery of our perfect summer holiday - we ALL cannot wait to return to Africa.Posted on Tripadvisor
TracyAP337 days agoExcellent Service and Extraordinary Adventure Coming back to Pembury Tours [Tammy H] to help plan our second African safari (S Africa 11 years ago; Kenya this trip) was the best decision! I shared places I was curious about, which she then turned into an elevated itinerary and travel experience with terrific suggestions, too. Camps were held for us while we decided and settled upon the most expansive 10-day adventure we could fit in! 25th wedding anniversary surprises were awaiting us at every turn, and each were heartwarming and kind gestures. Good and Kenyan hospitality was amazing. Guided airport pick up and check-in was worth gold. Pre, during and post holiday communication was excellent!!! Their app was so helpful/the documents were top-notch, too. A local company helped with city guides and one camp transfer, which was great … I strongly recommend air travel vs ground transfer where possible as one drive between camps was too long. Tourist39042907201341 days agoThe best trip to Africa We spent two amazing weeks in Africa. We visited South Africa (Sabi Sand, Cape Town), Victoria Falls and Botswana (Chobe, Okavango). This was our fourth time in Africa, but this was our most amazing trip so far.All thanks to Pembury tours, specifically Gail Davis. When choosing an agency, we approached several from Africa, but from the beginning the communication with Gail was at a high level. She was able to match our requirements to the places we wanted to see. She proposed an optimal itinerary, which we implemented without any problems. We also communicated with each other during the trip without unnecessary delay. We always received answers in a timely manner. The trip was fantastically prepared, so I can't even mention any potential problems. Everything worked perfectly. Thank you again Gail. We needed family tents with single occupancy, which isn’t always easy to arrange, but she found the perfect solution for us.The safari itself was a joy — beautiful lodges, excellent food, and truly outstanding guides who made every game drive exciting and memorable. Alison L356 days agoHoneymoon bucket list trip in South Africa My husband and I just got back from our amazing honeymoon trip in South Africa. It was incredible, from the safari and garden route to Cape Town. We had the best time. We had lots of support from Tammy Harding at Pembury tours, I believe part of the reason the trip was so good, is because it was so well organised. She was very patient with any changes or requests from us ahead of the trip and super responsive with us before and during our trip. All of the tours and activities went smoothly and we had a great time, we couldn’t fault the operators at all. We particularly liked the itinerary app and all the printed docs on our arrival to make it easy for us to track our fully packed schedule for the 2 weeks. If I could plan every trip like that I would! We also appreciated the little things such as having meet and greet on our arrival and little notes for operators so they knew it was our honeymoon. This is our 2nd trip to Africa with her and although you would expect nothing to match the 1st trip's magic, this one was actually even better. Traveling through Africa involves a great amount of planning , especially going from place to place. As previously, Kerry had every detail covered. Every accommodation was stunning and all with with absolute 1st class service. Transportation from destination to destination was always on time (early more often) with extremely polite and knowledgeable drivers. Airport transfers and all the required arrangements were completely in order. Her recommended resteraunts were always better than expected. This is because she actually "listens" to the traveler and uses what she learned from paying close attention, to plan the perfect trip. She created a detailed itinerary based on our preferences and arranged all of the tours, accommodations, and transit. She was responsive and was a great source of information about the area. The lodges she recommended in Zimbabwe and South Africa exceeded our expectations. Tammy put together an epic week long safari across Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia & Botswana to explore the unreal Victoria Fallson both sides, then cruise the Nambian delta and immersed in wildlife from the first second and then finish up at the most amazing Ngoma Safarill odge, which was 5* in every single category! As you can imagine, the number of transfers and customs/immigration crossings was a lot, but it was a breeze, because Tammy had every single transfer upon transfer set up for us and it was seamless! All we had to do was show up with our bags and then the rest was taken care of. It was an adventure of a lifetime, and so happy I came across Tammy and Pembry Tours. We gave her a rough idea of what we definitely wanted, to see all four border countries, and then time we'd like in each one and she took it from there. Working with Tammy was as seamless as the adventure! The final client portal with itin, border crossing info, such as carry or have accessible all shoes across the Botswana border to decon saved us valuable time and energy. Just returned from one of the best vacations we ever had, and it was organized by Pembury Tours ❤️ Our manger Tammy was brilliant to plan the whole trip with lots of ideas and considering our wishes at the same time. We spent incredible 2 weeks time in Cape Town, Hermanus, Knysna and Franschhoek. With every place we thought the bar cannot go higher but it did in fact. We also appreciate the flexibility due to the weather conditions, we were offered the alternative activities every time as Tammy made sure we do not waste any single moment during our trip. All the guides and drivers were very professional, so there were no delays or any issues and the guided tours (both private and group) were very exciting. Amy K415 days agoAnother Amazing African Experience! This is the second trip we have booked to Africa through Heidi with Pembury Tours. I can't say enough great about her incredible work. My husband has multiple sclerosis, and Heidi does an amazing job of finding accessible adventures that allow us to fully immerse in our experiences. This time we were able to go Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda, Safari in Kenya, and explore the beaches and island of Zanzibar. It was an absolutely incredible experience to have a personal stretcher arranged for my husband to be carried up the Rwanda mountainside so that he could experience Gorilla trekking with us. Heidi was amazing at making sure this was arranged and we were able to do this together as a family, along with all of the other amazing adventures we had. The accommodations she selected were beautiful, the food was outstanding, and every excursion was well planned out, incredibly fun, and taught us so much about the local culture. We were greeted at every airport, had the information we needed for visas, and had incredibly smooth transitions throughout our trip. Throughout the planning of our trip Heidi is always quickly responsive and willing to adjust as needs came up or we wanted to try something different than we had originally planned. Heidi is also immediately available when we are in Africa and the couple of times we needed to get in touch with her for something like a flight delay, she quickly responded and worked with us to make sure any other adjustments were quickly made. Heidi always feels just as excited as we are about our trips and loves finding ways for us to explore this beautiful continent. The pricing is incredibly reasonable for everything that we were able to do. jacki s426 days agoA Dream South African Journey Made Effortless by Pembury Tours Most Amazing vacation to South Africa thanks to Kerry Ririe at Pembury Tours. The booking process was very easy; I sent Kerry the days we wanted to travel my budget and a general idea of we thought we wanted to do. She sent me 3 options hitting the nail on the head and we were off to South Africa on a dream vacation. We spent 2 days in Franschhoek doing wine testing via and the Hop-on Hop-Off Wine Tram and being educated by Elmer from La Rochelle Tours – who taught us how to enjoy wine, which we did. We also had a great day with Rosa from Paradise Touring who showed us the joys of Cape Peninsula and made sure we enjoyed, the scenery, the penguins and table mountain as the skies cleared. Then off to Motswari Game Lodge to see the animals up close and personal – the staff at this lodge made us feel right at home like family and our guide Owen kept us laughing and looking for the next animal. We saw the big 5 all in one night and got very up close and personal to elephants, leopards, lions and my personal favorite giraffes. We also spent time at the Idube Game Lodge a newly renovated camp where we saw wild dogs, more leopards so many animals. Our accommodations, flights and tours all surpassed our expectations. An added bonus was getting to meet the wonderful woman who planned it. Africa and Game Camps From the moment we engaged Kerry Ririe and Pembury Tours, she grasped our desire to take 14 family members to South Africa to experience the local sights but more importantly to visit game camps to see all the animals the region has to offer. The planning was easy in that she communicated with us constantly through emails and Zoom calls to achieve a trip plan that turned out to be second to none.We had 4 families to plan for with members from 6 to 69. This was not an easy task as we stayed in 5 locations. Moving us from place to place turned out to be seamless and our accommodations were first rate. The game camps she chose for us were perfect and our trips into the bush to see the animals in the wild were a dream come true for everyone.In closing, on any trip you expect hiccups. However, that never occurred much to our amazement. Had we planned this ourselves, there would have been guaranteed hiccups because so much of what Kerry did for us we would never have thought about doing for ourselves. Great wildlife, warm hospitality, very special accommodation and landscapes hard to describe. Small touches in sundowners, camp fires, helicopter flights, singing camp staff and many more events enhanced the whole immersive experience. Seamless travel and arrangements meant we could just enjoy the travel and sightseeing. It felt very individual to us, guiding us and looking after us at every stage. From the time we departed to our arrival back home, everything was seamless and a breeze.Our stay in Victoria Falls was breathtaking. We had incredible accommodation and touring the falls both on foot and via a helicopter was spectacular. Our guide was waiting for us and took us to the hotel and then started showing us all the beautiful places. He was very well organised and took care of us for the 3 days we were there. We could not believe we had never considered going to this part of the world before as it is absolutely beautiful. Our 2 nights at the Lalibela game reserve was a wonderful experience as well. Tammy put together some great initial ideas and then revised them in response to our wishes. The information about the itinerary was excellent. The types of accommodation and transport were tailored to our wishes perfectly. Closer to the holiday we were provided with access to a trip portal, which was detailed and helpful and included some great suggestions. Throughout, we were impressed by the level of care, attention to detail and availability. Tammy replied to any queries very promptly. It was also reassuring that Tammy said she would be contactable during our holiday, but in the event, this wasn’t necessary as the organisation was seamless and, although we had plenty of independence during the trip, we felt looked after all the way. The quality of the guides and drivers was exceptional. They all had so much of interest to tell us and we learnt so much.The places we visited were beautiful and fascinating. LibC666 days agoPenbury Tours are amazing - Kerry is the best We were fortunate to come across the amazing reviews of Penbury over 7 years ago and even more fortunate to have Kerry Ririe, their Senior Tour Consultant assisted us. Our first trip to SA was so spectacular that there was no hesitation in contacting Kerry to assist us with a further 5 amazing trips to SA , Zambia and Namibia and she is currently assisting with our next trip. Kerry's amazing knowledge and first hand experience of having lived across Africa, brings a unique and gifted insight, to many hidden gems and incredible experiences. In one sentence she can turn an average holiday into the most incredible trip. From extra tyre insurance and finding the right vehicle in Namibia, to finding the perfect accommodation, safari lodge and activities specific to the season and region. Devil's pool in Zambia has limited access due to seasonal water levels, advice on the optimum time to visit Kruger and how to manage a 10 day self drive in the park. Booking lodges, camps, internal flights . Kerry makes it looks easy and takes the stress out of trying to co ordinate the various flights and transfers. Neil C682 days agoFantastic South Africa holiday We have just returned from a 4 week holiday in South Africa and Victoria Falls with superb assistance from Kerry Ririe at Pembury Tours.Kerry gave so much time to all our queries and requests and always came back to us very promptly and was so patient with us. All the bookings and arrangements she made on our behalf were faultless and it is especially pleasing and reassuring that all the transfer drivers were always there in plenty of time and couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Mike T705 days agoTrip of a Lifetime This was our first trip to Africa and first time safari. Usually we take care of all of our travel arrangements on our own. But very quickly realized that with this trip we were completely overmatched and chose to interview several travel agencies. After a few conversations we found that Pembury Tours offered everything we needed and felt an instant connection with our agent Anya Jarvis. She started by helping to educate me about the different countries, locations and combinations that might make for a well rounded cultural and safari trip. She listened to our areas of interest and then suggested game lodges, hotels and tours that were available to us within our price range. Our South Africa trip covered 3 weeks with stays in 3 game reserves(Madikwe, Lalibela, and Oceana Reserve) and 3 city stays (Johannesburg, Cape Town and Hermanus). We booked all of our own air travel internationally. With Anya’s guidance we also were able to book our domestic flights as well. With the exception of a couple of day tours Anya booked and arranged every other detail of our trip. This included a full color itinerary booklet and an online portal that had every detail of our trip outlined. Airport meet & greet assistance at the gates, curbside, and assistance with checkin and security. All transfers, to/from lodges, hotels and tours. Everything went just as promised without any hiccups and on time. Her suggestions on game lodges, hotels and tours were excellent. We could not have asked for more. Happiness45065521597719 days agoThanks much Gail Davis and Pembury Tours Gail worked with us to create the perfect itinerary for our budget and needs. She was very nice, very patient, responsive and answered every question I had about the trip and assured us that we would be in good hands. We spent three days in Cape Town. We went up to the iconic Table Mountain and visited other local attractions. All local tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Then we spent three days at a luxury lodge in Manyeleti Private Game Reserve. We went on two game drives on each day and it was here where we saw all the Big Five. Then we were transported by air to Victoria Falls on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It was a mesmerizing sight to behold. We also enjoyed a sunset dinner cruise here. It was the most outstanding experience we could have ever asked for. The transfers were all on time, the hotels were top notch, and the operators were very friendly. MadameReverie721 days agoOutstanding Travel Planning My husband and I decided to go to Africa on safari to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We typically plan every aspect of our vacations ourselves, but when it came to planning a safari in Africa, it looked like it would be better to be guided by a travel planning professional. We reached out to several well-rated tour companies for quotes and Pembury offered the best ratio of price to value. Anya was our travel planner for an 11-day tour to Cape Town, Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls, and a day tour to Chobe National Park in Botswana. She booked all of our accommodations as well as our internal flights in Africa, ground transfers, and several activities. Every hotel and lodge booked was phenomenal and provided some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. We also received a number of lovely upgrades and amenities from each hotel to honor our anniversary. All of the travel within Africa was seamless and it was very relaxing to have someone else plan all of it for us. We enjoyed several excellent activities suggested by Anya such as a private full-day Cape Peninsula tour and a wonderful dinner cruise on the Zambezi river in Victoria Falls. Curiosity09705358799752 days agoPerfect honeymoon trip of a lifetime Kerry planned our honeymoon trip to South Africa last June and it really was a trip of a lifetime! We got in touch with her on recommendation from a friend and it was the best thing that we could have done. She took on board all of our preferences and made the whole thing stress-free which was amazing. Although we packed a lot into our 2 weeks, our itinerary was well paced and we were never exhausted. All our transfers were arranged by Kerry which worked out seamlessly. The tours that she recommended and tour guides were really brilliant. Usually tours can be hit and miss but we couldn't fault a single one. We experienced amazing food, culture and stayed in wonderful accommodation which really suited our needs. She had let our accommodation know that we were honeymooners so there was complimentary prosecco at all stops! :) We have recommended Kerry to several people already looking to plan trips to South Africa and hope to explore more of Africa in the future through Kerry.Posted on Tripadvisor

We first connected with Kerry Ririe at Pembury Tours in 2019 - however covid happened and all was delayed til July 2024. Fortunately Kerry was available and instrumental in updating our dream trip. Kerry organized all our Safari, all accomodations, flights, transfers, car rentals and even entertainment. And keeping within out budget. She was amazing - always available, by phone, email or WhatsAPP. She was extremely attentive to all details , wishes and questions. Concerns were always easily resolved. She customized an amazing itinerary for us which worked seemlessly. Kerry at Pembury Tours was exceptional. William M777 days agoTrip of a Lifetime We had wanted to go on safari for years. When we started exploring I researched many companies. Most have prescheduled tours with a larger group. We selected Pembury for flexibility and value. Anya built a custom trip for my wife and I. We packed in a lot! 4 different lodges, 8 full days of safaris, Victoria Falls, Cape Town, Johannesburg, 3 different countries. The entire trip was customized just for us. All transportation was arranged so we were picked up and escorted from each location to the next. Our two week trip was a wonderful mix of experiences in Capetown, the Cape Peninsula, Sabi Sands, Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park in Botswana and Johannesburg. Anya planned a very well organized, smooth and safe trip for us and set us up with fantastic guides. She was very available to us for any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Anya. Unfortunately our flight from Atlanta was cancelled by delta (would not recommend) and we could not be rebooked for 3 days. Tammy from Pembury tours, along with the tour provider, managed to reschedule the entire tour to 3 days later. We are so grateful that the Tammy and the tour company were so accommodating and understanding of the situation we found ourselves in. Tammy was very reassuring at all times and it was a relief knowing we had somebody able to deal with rearranging the tour while we were in a very stressful situation. Ronald R792 days agoFantastic Botswana safari adventures and lovely excursion to Victoria Falls sandwiched between time in Cape Town. I cannot say enough good things about our Pembury Tours safari vacation to Cape Town, Botswana and Victoria Falls. I was a little nervous about all the air and ground transfers as we moved from place to place, but the people and services set up to greet us at every step of the trip were flawless. There was someone helping us with transportation and through the lines at airports and visa entry points which made everything easy and comfortable. Our Pembury Tours travel agent, Kerry Ririe, was always available via phone or WhatsApp, and that connectivity was reassuring throughout our trip. I loved our three nights at Camp Xakanaxa. It was beautifully situated in the Okavango Delta with large decks overhanging the water where we enjoyed cocktails and wine around a fire every night. The sunsets and sunrises were so gorgeous there. The camp was meticulously kept up, our tent well-tended to and housekeeping stellar. The food was delicious. They set up a dinner one evening in the courtyard with tablecloths and lanterns. It looked magical and truly felt like an outdoor safari dinner. They also provided wonderful boat rides on the water to view the hippos and birds. The Xakanxa safari guides were wonderful at the camp, joining us for meals and making sure we were informed every step of the way. Our guide was Ketz - he was super. We saw lots of animals, including a pride of 8 female lions devour a large Cape Buffalo while it was still alive. What a NatGeo moment!! Chobe Game Lodge was beautiful and very modern. Our rooms had flower petals spread over our beds when we arrived -- nice touch! We were kept very busy there with safari outings in the morning and late afternoon and a boat ride on the Chobe River right after lunch. Our guide was Irene, and we saw hundreds of elephants, lots of lions (and their cubs), giraffes, baboons, crocodiles, zebras, cape buffalo and of course the ubiquitous impalas. They also set up tables all around the grounds one evening so you had your own intimate table by yourself. The table area was lit with lanterns and service was great. Both Camp Xakanaxa and the Chobe Game Lodge were full-service arrangements, meaning all meals were included as was an open bar. Our safari outings on land and water were always supplemented by water, sodas or other refreshments. If it was a cool morning we were provided blankets to keep us warm. The jeeps and boats were always clean and comfortable, and operators focused on traveler comfort and safety while seeking the best wild animal viewing opportunities. Victoria Falls was mesmerizing. The water level was pretty high and we had a great guide named Lucky leading our tour. The Hotel Ilala was very nice and situated very near the Falls. The lodging at Ilala included a magnificent breakfast. All the staff we engaged with were extremely courteous and helpful. We used Uber to get around Cape Town and that proved to be very easy. Pembury Tours arranged our tickets to visit Table Mountain. We got up to the top in the morning and were able to enjoy the stunning views of Cape Town. We stayed in The Commodore Hotel down near the waterfront and enjoyed exploring the shops, bars and the aquarium. The Commodore breakfast was superb, and we sampled evening dinners at nice restaurants (Villa 47 and Codfathers) in the local area. The foundation of our highly successful safari vacation was Kerry Ririe! Beginning months before our Pembury Tours down payment and contract signing, Kerry was helpful with email exchanges addressing questions and concerns we had. She volunteered advice and counsel as we tailored our safari itinerary, and once in country she kept in touch periodically to ensure all was going to plan. When our departing international flight was suddenly canceled and slipped 24 hours, she quickly arranged for an airport pickup and hotel rooms for the three of us. She ensured our daughter was surprised with a birthday cake and champagne at Chobe Game Lodge -- how considerate! Kerry was fantastic and made the trip so enjoyable for us in every respect. All we needed to do was show-up and have fun. We had a customized tour which included Cape Town, Simbavati Lodge near Kruger Park, Victoria Falls and a safari lodge in Chobe Park Botswana. Kerry Ririe, our tour consultant planned it all and she did an amazing job. I was impressed with what we were able to see and do within our budget. Cruzangirl808 days agoOur Trip of a Lifetime to Africa We recently returned from a safari adventure in Zimbabwe and Botswana followed by a few days in Cape Town South Africa. This fantastic trip was planned by Kerry Ririe at Pembury Tours. Kerry did an outstanding job putting together a trip for me and my husband and another couple which met all the criteria we provided her (countries, accommodation standards, activities and budget) Our trip was truly seamless, which alleviated a lot of stress moving around countries which were new to us. We are very avid travelers and this was our trip of a lifetime. We arrived in Cape Town from the USA and stayed one night at the Commodore Hotel, Victoria and Alfred Harbor Front. This was a very convenient area. The hotel was perfect for us. The next morning we were transferred to the airport by our outstanding driver/tour guide Noel who would tour us around Cape Town and Cape Point at the conclusion of our holiday. We flew to Zimbabwe and again were greeted at the airport and taken to Ilala Lodge. The Lodge was beautiful and located so close to Victoria Falls we could see the mist from the terrace. The rooms were beautiful. We had a lovely dinner cruise on the Mighty Zambezi River and spotted our first hippos and elephants. The food was delicious and the sunset and full moon on the river made for a magical experience. We returned to the lodge to see a trio of hippos eating the pristine lawn from our balcony. The next morning the lawn was completely restored. That morning we awoke to a gorgeous pink sky and lovely breakfast on the terrace. After breakfast our guide, Ntogozo picked us up for a walking tour of Victoria Falls, guiding us to all the viewpoints and explaining the various fauna along the way. We had a great lunch at Lookout Cafe in the afternoon. During our free time in Victoria Falls we booked a spectacular helicopter tour over the falls with Chikopokopo and a Black Rhino Safari at Stanley & Livingstone Preserve. Our guide spotted 3 endangered rhinos for us to see. The bush dinner under the Milky Way was amazing. The next day we were driven to Chobe Botswana. My husband and I agreed that Ngoma Safari Lodge was our favorite accommodation in Botswana, but all of them were great, immaculate, and with high standards. We felt very safe and well cared for at all the places. We were welcomed to Ngoma by the lovely staff of Neo, Ishmael, Sam, Samson and others singing to us. They had cool towels and cold beverages. When we entered we all gasped at the beauty of the place and the spectacular view. Our “huts” were extremely comfortable with every amenity we needed provided. We had a private plunge pool which some elephants used as a watering hole. It was incredible! The food, service and ambiance at Ngoma Safari Lodge were fabulous. Our safari guide Sam set a high standard with his vast knowledge and expertise. On our first afternoon drive we saw a leopard, huge herds of elephants, and a magical sunset over the Chobe River looking towards Namibia. The next day Sam took us on a private river safari on the Chobe. The abundance of hippos, crocodiles and assorted wetland birds was stunning. Afterwords we did another safari drive and saw a pride of lions. By day two of our trip we had viewed the Big 5! Additionally we saw a stampede of approximately 300 Cape Buffalo, vast quantities or dazzles of zebras, impalas, baboons, warthogs and journeys of giraffes. The amount of elephants we saw was staggering. Our final day at Ngoma Safari Lodge we asked to visit the village of Mabale. We saw the school and met some of the children. We also shopped from local women selling beautiful woven crafts. We enjoyed interacting with the local villagers. Our next adventure was in Savuti at Ghoha Hills. The terrain is hilly and the foliage with colorful leaves was very scenic. We saw a huge pride of lions with 3 mature males, wildebeests and the highly endangered Cape Wild Dogs. Ghoha Hills is a luxury eco camp. The staff were warm and welcoming. Edwin the manager was a pleasure to visit with and he spoke to us about life in Savuti. We loved how the staff sang and invited us to dance while we sat around the boma (fire). Our last stay in Botswana was at Amber River Lodge in the Okavango Delta. We reached the delta via lite aircraft and helicopter, which were seamless transfers. Amber River Lodge put us the closest to the animals. We were in a private concession with elephants 15-20 feet from our tent deck. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck or laying in our hammock and watching the animals. Our safari guide Moss did a wonderful job spotting animals. The staff could not have been nicer. The camp manager Aretha, our safari guide Moss, our waiter Ollie and the rest of the staff were so gracious. They even surprised us with a bush lunch and celebration cakes. We took a Mokoro canoe safari in the delta which was amazing. During our bush lunch a pride of 6 lions arrived a few hundred yards away. While we were busy enjoying lunch the guides were always on the lookout for our safety. They calmly told us to get into the jeeps and we drove closer to view the pride. The sunrises in the Okavango Delta were so vivid with the clouds forming striations in front of the sun. I will never forget the beauty. We returned to Cape Town for our last portion of the trip. We again stayed at the harbor front at Commodore. The breakfast was excellent and service was great. Our city guide Noel took us to see historic landmarks the first day and the beautiful Cape Point and other coastal viewpoints the second day. We were sad to leave the south of Africa. The people, animals, accommodations and beauty were outstanding. If you plan to visit Africa we highly recommend Kerry Ririe and Pembury Tours. We had an incredible experience with Melanie from Pembury tours who organized a trip to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana for us. Melanie went above and beyond before, during, and after our trip and she always was extremely responsive, helpful, competent, and attentive. The response time to any question was pretty much immediate and there was no question Melanie was not able to address. Organization and the whole process was exceptional. We haven’t encountered even one single issue or delay with any transfers, hotels, flights, etc. during our 12 days tour. Melanie also remained in touch every step of the way and was welcoming any feedback we had. Before the trip we felt a bit nervous since it was our first time in Africa. However, everything within the tour worked as a clock when we arrived and we felt completely taken care of and relaxed for the whole trip. We were confident that all the arrangements were made and everything was going as planned because Melanie was on top of it. We feel extremely lucky that we did a tour with Melanie and honestly could not ask for any more support and attention than we received. I wholeheartedly recommend Melanie and Pembury Tours and I personally will never go back to Africa through any other tour provider but Pembury. beverley w812 days agoAmazing adventure in Botswana Melanie of Pembury Tours organized an incredible 2 week trip to Victoria Falls and Botswana for my husband and I. Melanie was extremely responsive to emails in the planning process and came up with different options for us to choose, to suit our budget and interests. The support before and during our trip was much appreciated. We stayed at Pioneer Lodge in Victoria Falls, which we loved, and highly recommend the sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi as well as a tour of the Falls and walking with the rhinos on the Zambian side. In Botswana we visited 3 different camps, which provided lots of variety. Lebala camp focused on tracking predators and we were lucky enough to see lions, cheetahs, leopard and wild dogs. At Amber river camp we enjoyed a mokoro safari and saw large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebra and hippos. Finally San camp in the Makgadikgadi salt pans was an amazing contrast to the other areas we visited and the dinner and night sleeping under the stars in the salt pan was the highlight of our trip! All the camp transfers worked seamlessly and we were always met by company representatives to show us the way. We had an amazing time at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel on the waterfront in Cape Town (really great location and beautiful), with a super tour guide for all the highlights (Melvyn Austin). Onto Arathusa in Sabi Sands which was incredible. Finally Victoria Falls Safari Lodge (good, but my least favorite stay). Everything was so easy-transfers, air, meals, lodging, and tours. As soon as I connected with Anya she took away all our requests and came back with an amazing itinerary which gave us everything we wanted. We instantly felt secure in the knowledge that we would be looked after. So the holiday itself exceeded our expectations and Pembury delivered on everything they had promised. Our tour guide Lele made our trip to Cape Town and unforgettable one, his incredible knowledge and humbleness helped us to connect with South Africa in such a deep way, he is amazing. The hotel in Cape Town was perfect, the trips we had to Table mountain, cape tour all unbelievable. The second part of the holiday was Lalibela safari. This was an amazing location and perfect for a young family, shame the weather wasn’t great but we made the most of it. We loved how different options were presented to us in the planning stages, and all details were put together immaculately. We did not have to worry about anything on our safari from start to finish, and loved every moment. Melanie was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with at anytime.Posted on TripadvisorTraveler21244268915951 days agoFaultless Trip/Safari Started this in 2022 just after Covid, finally went in Jan 2024, honesty could not fault this company and particularly Tammy, followed up promptly, invoicing correct, our needs listened to and acted upon, got into the nitty gritty of what we wanted, as it was my partners 60th and we were coming from Australia, no mean feat considering time differences and the fact that it was 18 months away. Both the lodges we stayed at exceeded our expectations and we got to see the big 5, and so much more. Tam even organised flights for us from cape town to Hoedspruit and then down to Jo'burg as part of the service. She also friended us on Whats App before we left so we could communicate during the trip, answering questions on a Saturday and even on a Sunday. We did not have a glitch (other than having to let our belts out due to the incredible food!) and being a person who prefers travel agents, well this just proved why I do and what they can do. We have already referred this company and Tam to a friend for the safari and also are considering our options for Rwanda and the gorillas which has now been brought forward. Traveling with a 10-month old baby, we were hesitant at first to go on a safari, but Pembury provided us a few malaria free options at this time of the year which really made our lives easier and convinced us to go for it! Anya was super helpful with her suggestions as it was the first time for us visiting South Africa, and we picked Madikwe game reserve as our malaria free safari. We didn’t want to leave the baby behind on game drives so Anya was able to find the most suitable accommodation for us with a private vehicle that fit our budget. Jaci’s safari lodge was very hospitable and the staff took really good care of us, especially with a baby traveling along. We are glad that our baby enjoyed just as much as we did. The most valuable part for us was the great suggestions we got, beyond the queries we had in mind, given we were traveling to the country for the first time. We got very good advice on how we should plan our trip, the transfers, weather, flights and even other places worth visiting. She put together an itinerary based around our budget and requests, one of which was the fact that we didn't want to do self drive, but also had some great suggestions of her own. debbiewaterman581083 days agoFantastic holiday in South Africa organised by Heidi of Pembury Tours We booked a holiday of a lifetime to South Africa with Heidi Bedford of Pembury tours in 2019 but it took over three years to get there due to Covid and my father’s ill health causing postponements, but it was worth the wait. Everything about the holiday was superb. The itinerary Heidi put together ,and the choice of accommodation was perfect. Even though the weather worked against us and we didn’t get to go up Table Mountain or go on the Whale Watching tour at Hermanus, this didn’t spoil things for us as Ian Campbell-White, our guide in Cape Town, made our time with him so interesting and we saw so many whales from the coast at Hermanus from our fabulous sea view room that we had at the Marine Hotel. We really enjoyed our visit to Franschhoek and our stay at the Avondrood Guest House was lovely. It is such an interesting property, unlike anywhere we have stayed before, and the day spent wine tasting using the Franschhoek Tram was unforgettable. The two lodges that we stayed at in Kruger, Elephant Plains and &Beyond Ngala Tented, were exceptional, both from the point of view of superb hospitality and the excellent guides and trackers ensuring that every game drive was a new and exciting experience. We got to see so much wildlife and take so many photos and videos. Something for us to enjoy now we are back home again. We were on a tight schedule for our flight back to the UK after leaving Kruger but Heidi had kindly arranged an escort at Cape Town airport to ensure a smooth connection onto our BA flight home, after flying in from Hoedspruit airport; we really appreciated this additional service as this reduced any stress we might have had if we had been at risk of missing our flight. We will have no hesitation in recommending Heidi and Pembury Tours to any friends or family who express an interest in an African holiday and should we be lucky enough to be able to return to Africa again for a future holiday we will certainly use Pembury Tours again.Posted on Tripadvisor

All the lodges we stayed in were beautiful, we got to see the Big 5 and had some of the best food we have ever eaten. Pembury Tours was spectacular to work with. We had an unforgettable trip-- all details were arranged with care. Anya, our representative, worked with us to build a trip that highlighted the best of southern Africa. She gave excellent advice about where to spend our time and helped us meet our budget, without sacrificing quality. We made a few edits to the trip during the planning process and Anya made sure all of these decisions were made carefully. She was very communicative throughout the process. All of our lodging was comfortable with warm, helpful staff, and the food at every location was exceptional (though we also had plenty of fantastic restaurant experiences). We had seamless air/driving transfers between destinations as well. Our assigned tour guides for relevant parts of the trip were friendly and knowledgeable and elevated the whole experience. And in a seemingly infinite pool of safari lodges/experiences, it's hard to imagine we could've been better situated. Finally, though we rarely needed to contact Anya, she was seemingly always available for any questions or issues that came up while we were traveling. I cannot recommend Pembury highly enough. Khawlah A1135 days agoBest trip ever This is my first time planning and booking for a trip through a tourism agency and I’m so confident that I won’t be able to find another one that can come up to or even close to the level of pembury tours. I started to recommend them to my friends way back from the planning stage as i sensed how professional they are and i was absolutely right. We were a family of 6 and we had so many requests regarding our stays, vehicle, and activities. We wanted to experience and explore many things and all of our wishes were met perfectly. I especially would like to thank Melanie who was our itinerary planner. She was so competent, punctual, and mindful. She showed a genuine care for our enjoyment and was so patient with me who always responded late do to my busy work. The itinerary she created was so clear and inclusive. She even mentioned the average tip in the country and many other small details that was super helpful. Melanie shared a list of restaurants that she recommend and oh my god i have never tasted anything close to this in my life and It wasn’t only the food but the views, service, and overall vibes were above describing. We got the best rooms in every hotel and the best table in gold restaurant right in front of the stage. We even got upgraded to a 6 rooms villa in one of our accommodations and it was magical. From the moment we landed and throughout the trip Melanie was always available through WhatsApp and when she took a vacation at the middle she connected us to her colleague Anne who was as great as her. During the first days in CapeTown it rained heavily and all of our activities were canceled but we missed nothing as Anne rescheduled everything for us. We even asked for a last minute change to some of the activities and she was more than happy to help. It is a first for me to enjoy every minute of a trip without stressing out or facing any kind of problems so this definitely won’t be our last time using their services. Tammy Harding was referred to me by a friend who had gone on Safari in Africa. I was hesitant to use the company because of my location in the U.S., but email made communication easy. Tammy was prompt to respond. Upon initial communications, she was learning about what we were interested in doing. I knew where I wanted to travel, based on a friend’s many experiences and best for viewing wildlife. I had no ideas of specifics; that’s where Tammy was extremely helpful. Tammy provided a base itinerary and adjusted it according to our preferences and budget. She was knowledgeable, honest, and communicative. Never having traveled to Africa or South Africa, I had many questions and Tammy answered them all. Tammy scheduled all of our flights, transportation, hotel/camp reservations, and other excursions. I have reviewed the hotels and camps on Trip Advisor. We started at Victoria Falls, where we stayed at Shearwater Explorers Village. Tammy scheduled an experience with the Elephant Sanctuary, where the elephants are cared for and saved. It was a an excursion that the entire family enjoyed. The hotel was close to town, making it walkable to dine and shop. It was also very close the Falls, making touring there easy. We then went to Chobe for our first camp experience. Despite this camp being new, it was exquisite. Tammy was forthcoming with the fact that the camp was new, but reassured me that it was close to other camps in that area. Well, Xhabe was truly a special place where the staff took excellent care of us. The game drives were a wonderful place to see much wildlife because of the water source. The next camp was in Savuti, at Camp Savuti. This place was different from the first. It was special in its own way- no fence, where animals roam free. The staff and accommodations were excellent. Tammy was right about this place. The game drives were incredible. The last camp was Mboma, a mobile camp. I was trepidatious, Tammy reassured me that it this camp was exceptional in its own way. She was correct; it may have been our favorite part of our safaris. Lastly, she had us go to Cape Town for 4 nights. I wasn’t sure about the length of time there, but she assured us there is plenty to do there. She was right. She had us stay in an apartment near the marina, where we had walking access to restaurants, shops, and other activities. She scheduled a guided tour of Cape Town, the tour bus with on and off transportation to explore, and cable car tickets to Table Mountain. Our stay there was the right amount of time there; Cape Town has a lot to offer. The accommodations there were nice, safe, and convenient. All of our guides, transportation, excursions, and experiences were phenomenal and made our trip a vacation of a lifetime. Tammy was an integral part of that. She used her resources, experience, and knowledge to plan this trip. It was because of her that we were able to experience different safaris, landscapes, people, and experiences. Tammy also provided any information we needed prior to travel to prepare us for traveling to and within that continent. She gave us information on safety, procedures, requirements, etc. Having Tammy in the continent, where we’re traveling was extremely useful. She was readily available via WhatsApp or email to answer any questions or make any adjustments necessary while we were there. She made dinner reservations and recommendations on the spot. All of these services made our trip go smoothly. She knew how to provide us with experiences that provided us with a vacation of a lifetime. Lastly, because of the expense of the vacation, I inquired about travel insurance. Tammy provided me with information but clarified that it was separate from Pembury Tours. It was helpful, but because we are from the U.S. and the provider of the insurance was in SA, I decided to purchase the insurance in the U.S. The currency and laws are different in SA than the U.S., so I felt comfortable with that option. I would highly recommend Pembury Tours for a travel agency. Tammy was a vital part of our experience; I am sure it would not have been as exceptional without her services. We travel all over the world and are usually very independent but since we initially had some concerns about safety in South Africa we decided to seek the help of Heidi Bedford at Pembury tours. We are so glad we did....everything was organized to the minimum detail and we felt cared for and safe throughout. She adapted the package to our needs and that of our teenage son and was very available to communicate with us both before and during the trip. Nothing was a big issue. We particularly liked all the accommodations which were varied and each had something particular about them. Ranging from luxury self-catering apartments in the V&A. waterfront in Capetown to the most luxurious lodges in Sabi-sands. We loved them all. We also enjoyed the freedom of driving the garden route independently. Safety was never an issue. South Africa has so much to offer in culture, nature and also culinary experiences. Our agent was Melanie and she was amazing, she answered all of our questions without hesitation. She communicated effectively and timely, paying for the Safari was also not an issue. We spent four nights in Cape Town, three nights in Victoria Falls, and eight nights at three different camps in Botswana all of the transportation, the flights the transfers and vehicles. Everything was amazing all of the, hotels and safari lodges or top notch. There was nothing at all to complain about. I was even able to text her on WhatsApp to talk about any questions I had during the trip, and she was more than happy to quickly answer and help with anything I asked. the questions I asked were not major issues they were just questions that I was uncertain about and wanted clarification on and she was more than happy to help and contacted companies for me to to set everything up. Melanie and Pembury tours are amazing. Anyone who wants to plant a Safari should contact them and they will not regret it. I just want to add one more thing. I usually plan every detail of our trips and my wife and I have traveled extensively internationally. Susan went above and beyond every step of the way. She was extremely thorough and thoughtful. She took the time to understand what we were hoping to accomplish with the trip and made sure that all our hopes were met. She answered every silly question we had professionally and thoroughly over the several months we took to organize and plan this trip. Upon arriving in South Africa, she had a package waiting for us with every detail of our trip laid out which took so much stress out of the situation and made the whole experience that much more enjoyable! We booked a trip through Victoria Falls and South Africa with Heidi at Pembury Tours, and it was the most outstanding experience we could have ever asked for. Heidi worked with us to create the perfect itinerary for our budget and needs. My husband has mobility challenges due to MS and she did an outstanding job of finding accommodations and activities that would allow us to adventure and explore. We were greeted on time for every transition, had wonderful connections, stayed in outstanding accommodations, and enjoyed every experience we had on the trip. We saw the Big Five very up close and personal, along with so many other animals. We enjoyed a sunset dinner cruise, kayaking with hippos, flying over Victoria Falls, walking with elephants in the bush, fantastic and exciting game drives at two different lodges, and capped it all off with a beautiful few days in Cape Town and Wine Country. Heidi arranged absolutely everything and couldn't have set it up any better. She also made sure we had her contact information prior to the trip so if anything went wrong we were able to immediately receive support. There were a couple minor hiccups, one having to do with airlines and getting my husband's scooter on the plane, and Heidi was on the phone with the airline on Sunday morning making sure everything was taken care of. Colin M1189 days agoAmazing Trip to Southern Africa Heidi at Pembury was terrific to work with. I booked a Travelzoo special at a safari camp in Botswana as my anchor for the trip. I then reached out to Pembury to plan the rest of the trip including stops in Cape Town, Chobe National Park, and Victoria Falls. Heidi did an amazing job understanding what we wanted and created a special itinerary for us. I proposed to my girlfriend during the trip, and Heidi helped organize the best place to do it, got me in contact with the tour guide for planning, and also had special celebrations arranged at each stop on our trip. It was a truly memorable vacation and Pembury was a very reliable partner. I would rate the trip 5 stars and recommend their services to everyone planning a holiday in Africa! We had such an incredible time and it is all thanks to Heidi at Pembury tours. From the very minute we arrived everything was taken care of. This was our first major international travel and we were both a little nervous, but Heidi thought of everything and we were so comfortable. Every transfer, excursion, meal, and accommodation was perfectly thought out and the service was always 5 stars. We contacted them on quite short notice to book a trip during high season (including Christmas), and everything came together quickly and smoothly. We ended up going on a 9 day tailor-made trip including 4 days in Cape Town, and 2 different spots in the Greater Kruger Area for safari. I reached out to Anya with a few ideas of where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see, and she put together a seamless custom itinerary including Cape Town, Cape Winelands, Sabi Sands Reserve for safari, and Sandton/Joberg. We are a young couple and had booked flights for a trip to South Africa but had absolutely no idea where to start with the holiday itself. I enquired at Pembury tours and within hours Melanie had been in touch to take further details of our plans and interests. She quickly came up with a fantastic itinerary that had everything we were looking for (I had it verified by some friends / contacts who were SA locals). She took on board things we were interested in seeing and doing and somehow managed to squeeze everything in. If Melanie’s service had stopped there I would have been very pleased with the holiday of a lifetime she had arranged for us HOWEVER she also remained on call throughout the entire trip to offer advice and assist with any problems. We had not one but two minor emergencies (which were entirely our own fault) including a suitcase being left in a cab. Melanie was on it immediately and within 15 minutes I had my bag back in hand. This was made even more impressive by the fact it was a Sunday afternoon when she should have been relaxing with the family rather than dealing with our stupidity! I really can’t thank Melanie and Pembury tours enough for the excellent service we received and the wonderful experience in South Africa. I usually don’t take time to write reviews, but I made time for this one because Melanie and Pembury Tours deserve all the positive reviews you see here. We originally planned our trip for 2020, but it had to be delayed to May 2022 due to COVID-19. Back in 2019 when we originally started contacting travel agencies and planning our trip, some agencies didn’t bother to respond, others sent crazy expensive and unrealistic itineraries, and others initially responded but then dropped the correspondence after a while. Melanie came back with a very realistic and reasonably priced itinerary and consistently responded to every question we had. We eventually built the itinerary with the level of lodges and hotels we were looking for, all the activities we wanted, and within range of our budget. We ended up with an amazing 18-night itinerary including Sabi Sand, Kruger, Capetown, Wine Route, Garden Route, and St. Lucia and Hluhluwe-Imfolozi in the Kwazulu Natal. Like everyone else, we had to postpone our trip due to COVID and in the meantime, many things changed, in particular the airline/flight availability and schedules. Melanie had to completely reorganize our trip from beginning to end, which in some cases required extra nights in new locations to accommodate the new flight schedules. She also found us some much nicer hotels and upgraded rooms than were on our original itinerary that were offering limited time deals and still kept things within our budget. We were really happy with all of the hotels, tours, and activities in our itinerary. I never use travel agencies for trips, but this trip was much longer than normal and we moved around a lot and did not want to drive ourselves, nor be on large tours. This meant we had many transfers, pick ups/drop offs, tour guides, hotel reservations, flights, tours, etc. and there were just too many details we didn’t want to deal with. We left prepared for any number of things to go wrong because there were so many places one small thing could completely derail the trip. The whole thing was absolutely seamless. I honestly cannot believe they managed to make everything work as well as it did. In the middle of our trip, one of our domestic flights was cancelled, but Melanie helped us book a new flight and rearranged all the subsequent transport, all within hours of notifying her it happened. She was always available on email and WhatsApp, checked in on us throughout the trip, and even came to meet us at the airport when we were in Port Elizabeth where Pembury is located. As an aside, I did my own calculations on what I think it would have cost if I booked everything included in our trip myself. I do not think I could have booked it any cheaper and it may have even been more expensive if I had done it myself because the travel agents in SA have access to some lodging deals the public does not. If you are worried using a travel agent is going to cost more, I do not believe this was the case for our trip. Even if it had been, it would have been well worth the added expense for all the time, hassle, and stress they saved me in planning, organizing, and executing this trip. We met another couple on a tour in Cape Town and their experience with another agent at Pembury sounded just like ours. John C1400 days agoFantastic service and detailed level of knowledge Just returned from another fantastic holiday to South Africa - 1 night in Dullstroom, 10 nights in Kruger National Park and 2 nights at Idube Lodge, Sabi Sands. Kerry Ririe was our tour consultant and this was the 3rd time that we have used Kerry & Pembury - we won't use anyone else. Kerry's detailed knowledge maid lit possible for her to put together a tour that was prefacer for us. Excellent recommendations on what camps to stay in whilst in Kruger and excellent choice for the game lodge and indeed the hotel in Dullstroom. Anya from Pembury Tours set up the best itinerary which was filled with amazing wild animals, Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders and many adventures to embrace the culture. After my first inquiry, I knew I was in good hands with Anya. She addressed all my areas of interest, with in my budget and was very detailed and always responded timely. I am a 60 year old woman traveling solo and I found comfort knowing, Pembury was located in South Africa. They are very knowledgeable about the area and worked with many local hotels, tour operators, etc. but they were also in the same time zone while I was traveling, and just a text or call away if anything was needed. Fortunately nothing was needed but Anya did check in with me periodically while I was there. With 3 different destinations and many activities, I had vouchers for everything. So there was no doubt where to be and when, along with the contact information included in each voucher for transport contacts, tour companies, etc. While on my safari I had the pleasure of having a very experience safari traveler in our group. She had been going on safari's for the past 18 years and was on her 4th one just this year with 2 more to go in 2022. I asked her recommendation for the best area, and she said you're in it, Sabi Sands. There are many lodges in the area and we were at Idube and would highly recommend. Overall, all of my guides, transport, accommodations were spectacular. I was even met as soon as I got off the plane, by someone to personally guide me to get through customs, get my bag, answer any questions and brought me to the first driver of many. Tammy put together an amazing itinerary that not only fitted around our schedule but ticked so many boxes of what we wanted to do and the quality we were looking for. However, that didn't stop us from planning!!! And we could not have chosen a better planning partner than Pembury Tours and Melanie. Melanie made the entire process as easy as possible. There wasn't one detail that was forgotten or not taken care of. More importantly, because we were planning during a global pandemic, we never knew what changing circumstances would be coming our way. Luckily, we had Melanie who was always available to answer questions in a timely manner. The level of detail was very impressive. As far as the trip itself, it exceeded our expectations on every level. Victoria Falls was spectacular and humbling. Chobe National Park and Munchenje Lodge were unbelievable. And Ker and Downey's Kanana Camp took service and hospitality to a new level. All in all, it was the trip of a lifetime and my children were moved to tears on a number of occasions. My husband and I recently returned from the THE MOST PERFECT honeymoon trip to South Africa, and we know for sure that it is due to the work of Heidi and of Pembury Tours that we had such an incredible experience. I worked with Heidi planning my honeymoon for almost 3 years. Due to COVID, our original wedding and travel plans were rescheduled, cancelled, and rescheduled again and again. Every single time we were forced to make the decision to postpone, Heidi was positive, supportive, and still remained excited about the event and the opportunity to make our dreams a reality even with a new date. She would tell you that by the time our honeymoon finally arrived, she was more excited than we were! Every single part of our trip that Heidi touched was perfect- from the several itinerary options that she versioned for us at the beginning all the way through the final airport transfer on our way home. She paid meaningful attention to our goals and our ideas about what we wanted to see/do/experience, created itineraries to choose from, and responded to our thoughts and feedback to design the perfect trip, as if she was reading our minds. The pre-event communications and preparation were exceptionally helpful to frame our experience, and the packet and details that met us upon our arrival in the country continued everything we could need (and more!) to orient ourselves to our trip. Throughout the trip, Heidi checked in via WhatsApp, and even communicated with some of our parents to help organize some ‘secret’ surprises for us along the way. And our parents have more wonderful things to say about her help organizing some meaningful gifts that were delivered to us at the perfect time! I was such a relief to literally just sit back and relax, and let Heidi’s planning or organization take control. I began the booking before COVID and she hung in there for the duration providing updates and we finalized a date that was comfortable for me. Melanie did an amazing job helping to plan the perfect trip, based on our accommodations and what we wanted to see. The whole itinerary was flawless as we arrived and traveled from place to place. She also communicated with us throughout the trip. We began our African journey at Victoria Falls, the tour of the falls was amazing and my daughter did all the adrenaline activities. We also went on the walking tour of the white rhinos in Zambia. All of our transfers were very well coordinated. We then traveled to Chobe and the safari experience exceeded our expectations. Just when we didn't think the trip could get any better, we experienced the Okavango Delta. It was an overwhelmingly wonderful experience. I am super grateful that I came across Pembury Tours where Anya was our tour consultant and created the perfect and unforgettable trip for us. Anya did an amazing job helping me to plan an unforgettable trip to Zimbabwe and helped me plan my proposal. It was our first time visiting Africa and the only thing I knew is that I wanted to propose next to the elephants. Therefore, Anya helped me and guided me to which country we should visit to enjoy the company of the elephants. Since it was our first time visiting Africa, and one of our first trips outside Europe after covid, Anya's guidance throughout and support were incredible. She prepared the most romantic and adventurous trip for us. From our VIP airport pickup to the romantic and incredible accommodations, every detail was taken care of, the only thing we had to do is create new memories. We started at Victoria Falls and then spent a couple of days at Hwange National Park where we created incredible memories and stories to share with our friends and family. When we initially reached out to Pembury in 2019, we knew we wanted to go on a 5 day safari at Kruger National Park but had no idea where to stay or how much it might cost. Kerry provided options for itineraries at different budget levels. With her guidance we booked the trip for April of 2020 but due to Covid 19 we had to reschedule several times. We were finally able to take the trip this April it completely exceeded our expectations. Kerry was so helpful and kind in planning and rescheduling at every step of the way. We can't thank her enough for all her help. Her choices for Safari lodges were excellent, she coordinated all of the transfers between lodges, and provided great day trip recommendations for the second half of the trip which we spent in Cape Town. mandeep m1720 days agoTrustworthy and professional company ... with a human touch! We are thrilled to write this review for Pembury Tours, and in particular, Anya who was our tour consultant. After reading so many positive and 5-star reviews about Pembury Tours, we decided to get in touch to help organise our safari to Sabi Sands. Anya was kind and cooperative enough to answer our questions and provide an offering that met our specific needs. During our conversation, we expressed our desire to visit South Luangwa, Zambia and she helped us with a perfect itinerary that we decided to go ahead and book instead of Sabi Sands as originally planned. Both of us being hobbyist photographers, we had requested for a private tour and cited particular requirements - right from what we'd like to do and see, our budget and the desired length of stay, to finer details like dietary requirements, what kind of tents we'd prefer, etc. Leaving no stone unturned, Anya put together an amazing and extremely well organised itinerary. The camp recommended by her, Flatdogs Camp, is a wonderful property in the valley. The guiding quality was top-notch, the food was delicious (even for vegetarians like us), and above all the staff, including the owners, were so welcoming and friendly. We had fairly high expectations from a sightings point of view, and thankfully we got to see and photograph everything we wanted including Leopards - the marquee species in South Luangwa, and the endangered African Wild Dogs, not to mention innumerable other animals and birds. As a part of the entire booking process, it was a seamless and stress-free experience. Anya was very understanding, accommodative and was quick to respond to a million emails we would have sent to her. She is extremely hardworking and caring at the same time. It is a skill to be able to manage demanding guests and be patient at the same time. Anya certainly excels in this regard. Travelling during Covid-19 times can be very stressful, and the rapidly changing travel rules make it even worse. We were originally scheduled to travel in June'21 but the delta variant caused our flights to be banned just days before our travel date. In these uncertain and anxious moments, Anya stood strong by us and catered to our questions with a human touch! She is so trustworthy and reliable and stayed in contact constantly as we tried to reschedule our safari. We eventually travelled in Nov'21 and thanks to the meticulous efforts from Anya, we had a fabulous time. Smaller things like airport pick-up and drop services, arranging for Covid-19 tests, etc. were kindly organised by her, ensuring that we could relax and enjoy our safari. As fate would have it, the panic around the Omicron variant meant that our flight back home was suspended literally 3 hours prior to the departure, leaving us stranded at the airport. Despite being her weekend and on top of that being fairly late in the evening, Anya went out of the way to arrange a vehicle to take us to a hotel to spend the night, and also kindly assisted in finding alternate flights back home. In these desperate times, having somebody trustworthy and reliable makes a huge difference mentally, and we are lucky to have had Anya around to help and guide us. It's difficult to imagine booking a trip on our own, especially in these challenging uncertain times. In the absence of the expertise and professionalism exhibited by Anya, it could have been a far worse and stressful experience for us. Thankfully, she lifted a lot of burden off our shoulders and ascertained that we enjoy our trip and leave the worries to her. A big thanks to you, Anya! There are not enough words to describe the incredible trip we had, all thanks to Melanie! This trip was originally planned for December 2020 but, due to COVID, was changed to November 2021. Not only was Melanie wonderful with helping to plan the original trip but she remained in constant communication with me as we readjusted and rebooked. Everything I asked for she made happen, no matter how many times I changed my mind! She answered every question in a timely manner and organized (and re-organized) all the activities as I found. She had everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING!) arranged before we arrived. When weather prevented us from doing our planned whale watching tour there was a back up plan! My parents enjoyed a trip on the Chobe River before joining my husband and I in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. We had the pleasure of working with Anya Visser from Pembury Tours while organizing our South African vacation. It was well organized, leaving no stone unturned. She thought of everything, making it a carefree vacation. Anytime I had a question, I would email her, and would get an immediate response. Hope Guzewicz1770 days agoTrip of a Lifetime Where to begin! We can't thank Tammy at Pembury Tours enough for her expertise in planning our trip. We started planning our vacation prior to Covid, and Tammy stayed in touch with us throughout the pandemic with updates and advice. We were SO happy to finally make it to South Africa this October! It was a stunning trip from start to finish and something we'll never forget. Tammy set up every transfer, accommodation and extracurricular for us and everything was just seamless. We didn't have to worry about a single thing the second we landed in SA. We loved the range of destinations she suggested for our trip (Kruger, Franschhoek and Cape Town), and were blown away by the hospitality at every accommodation. She also made sure to stay in touch with us throughout our time there should we need any immediate assistance. We're so thankful for this experience and owe so much of it to Pembury! Tammy Harding was our travel agent and she exceeded all our expectations. The travel arrangements made by Tammy including hotel bookings, activities, Covid testing, air travel and car rental ran so smoothly and effortlessly on our part. She remained in contact with us throughout the entire journey and we felt very comfortable knowing we could count on her if a problem arose. WizardGJM1788 days agoTammy at Pembury Tours was great. Tammy did a great job for us. The lodgings she picked were fantastic. The recommendations for activities and restaurants were outstanding. She worked extra hard because everything had to be re-scheduled three times because of covid. And during our trip, Tammy made herself available 24/7 for every silly question we had. She was especially helpful when weather messed up our plans and required changing things ‘on the fly’ for a couple days in Cape Town. She was patient throughout the entire booking process and helped guide us through the Covid requirements. It all turned out great. Thanks to Pembury Tours and our agent, Anya Visser, we had the most wonderful trip to South Africa! Based on our general description of what we wanted (e.g., to see the animals and enjoy lovely lodges), Anya skillfully created a custom itinerary that exceeded our expectations and yet met our budget. She arranged for us to spend 3 nights each at the Sabi Sands and Timbavati game reserves, with a 2 night interlude between them at the fabulous umVangati House in the Blyde River Canyon area. Both bush camps had expert guides, delicious food, and top notch accommodations. We had 2 game drives a day, with close-up sightings of the Big 5 (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, and Cape buffalo) as well as numerous other animals such as giraffes, crocodiles, baboons, monkeys, zebras, impalas, antelopes, hyenas, and hippopotamuses. Many of the animals had babies which made the viewing even more special. Our 2-day visit to the Blyde River Canyon area was magical. The third largest in the world, the Blyde River Canyon has incredible scenery and views. Our lodging at the umVangati House (located in a private nature preserve) was a 5-star experience — exceptional hosts, amazing food, fantastic accommodations, and spectacular views. The entire trip was seamless; Anya arranged escorts for us at each destination to ensure transportation was smooth and timely, and everything was taken care of in advance so we could just relax and enjoy our trip. Anya was exceptionally easy to deal with and professional, and went out of her way to ensure the trip was everything we could have wanted. She even arranged COVID testing for us so we could meet travel requirements within time restrictions. We would not have been able to experience a trip like this without the expertise and attention to detail that Anya and Pembury Tours provided. It was the trip of a lifetime. It’s our first visit to Safari & South Africa, we were filled with anxieties about safety and reliability of the online tour operator. These worries were all dispelled by Melanie, our tour advisor, who was prompt to answer any of our queries and concerns, giving us all the assurance we needed. Our group of 4 from Singapore had a fantastic 13D12N holiday covering Kruger National Park, Victoria Fall and Capetown. We were very lucky to spot the Big Five animals in the first game drive, it’s so amazing to be just next to the wildlife and see them in their natural habitat. All the hotel and restaurant recommendations were excellent, we experienced the true African hospitality. Special thanks to Melanie!!! Graeme Martin13 days agoWe have just returned from a 3-week adventure across Victoria Falls, Botswana and Cape Town. Pembury Tours were absolutely amazing in their planning, communication and delivery of our trip. All of the lodges and accommodation were excellent, the food was amazing and the wildlife safaris were as good as we could possibly have hoped for. This was our first visit to Africa and obviously our first safari experience, to see rhinos, lions, leopards, elephant, wild dogs and so many antelope and other animals was just incredible. Ben Shames45 days agoTrip of a lifetime! We had a wonderful experience and trip arranged by Tammy at Pembury Tours. She was always very prompt with responses regarding concerns or changes to our itinerary. We were provided with excellent and detailed documentation of every step of our tour, both online and printed. The guided tours that were arranged for us were excellent, both in Victoria Falls and Cape Town. All of our transfers and flights between locations within Africa were punctual and hassle-free. Our itinerary was as follows: 2 nights in Johannesburg - Da Vinci Suites 4 nights in Dulini Lodge in Sabi Sands (near Kruger) - first class lodging with excellent game drives. 1 night in White River (stop over) 2 nights Victoria Falls - Victoria Falls Hotel 3 nights Ngoma Lodge in Chobe - fabulous lodge 2 nights Shinde Lodge in Okavango Delta - a little more rustic but still very nice with great service 3 nights Cape Town - Radisson Blu near V&A WaterfrontPosted on Google

The whole trip was so easy for us because everything had been organised so well, from the accommodation, tours and transport. The safari in Botswana was the highlight. Daphne Lim97 days agoi just returned from an incredible 11 night holiday in Africa and i cnanot recommend this agency enough! Especially Heidi, our travel consultant! My journey with Pembury Tours started almost a year ago when I first approached them upon a recommendation from a good friend. From the first point of contact with Heidi, she was incredibly helpful and patient. Even when we wanted to make changes to the itinerary along the way, nothing was ever too much trouble. The level of detail they provided in the documents given to us was amazing. even down to practical advice on things like tipping etiquette which helped us a lot on the trip. They handled everything for us, from domestic flights and land transfers to accommodations and day tours. When we encountered an issue with our last accommodation on a Saturday evening, I called Heidi and despite it being the weekend, she resolved everything in a couple of minutes. If you want a stress free and curated vacation, I'd highly recommend Pempury Tours! Especially Heidi! I will definitely be recommending this to any friends traveling to Africa!
