What a WONDERFUL trip this was.  After 2020 being out of the question for travel, we set our sights on travelling in 2021 and what a trip it was.  You cannot go wrong with a safari in Botswana – I don’t think it can be beaten.  On the Chobe River, in Savute and then the wildlife in the Delta – the rest was just icing on the cake. We will definitely be back in Africa – perhaps East Africa for our next safari adventure before heading back to Botswana in a few years time.  We will be contacting Pembury for both – that’s for sure! Thank you so much Gail and Pembury Tours in putting this wonderful safari together – we could not have done it without you.  Knowing you were there every step of the way and in contact at all times, really did put our minds at rest.

Thank you Kerry for everything! WE had the most wonderful time in Cape Town, we finally saw the breathtaking Victoria Falls and were blown away by the wildlife and scenery of the Hwange – what a great suggestion that was! We were able to tick off so many “bucket list” items and cannot wait to plan our next trip to Africa with you!

We had the MOST wonderful time in Africa this year! We can’t believe the places we saw and the experiences we had! The game viewing in Hwange, The Delta and Chobe was out of this world! We have so many photos and memories that will last a lifetime. We had a taste of South Africa with Johannesburg and Cape Town included in our trip but there is so much more we want to see. There will be a next time for sure and we are sp thankful to Anya for all she did for us!

Our family booked a tour of South Africa with Pembury Tours. We worked with Heidi who was absolutely fantastic to work with! We planned the trip over several months and Heidi suggested an itinerary for us that was perfect! She adjusted it along the way depending on our preferences. She clearly knows the area and accommodations. There was never a time when I emailed her with a question that she didn’t get back to me right away. She couldn’t have been more helpful! We started in Cape Town at the Lawhill Apartments which was a great place to see Cape Town from. It was within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the Marina. Heidi arranged all of our tours, transfers and intra-Africa air. Her suggestions for tours in Cape Town were perfect. We really enjoyed the day of wine tasting and the peninsula tour. Both are not to be missed. Everything was absolutely seamless…..top notch transfers, tours and air. We stayed at 2 different safari lodges while in Sabi Sands. Kapama Karula was a stunning place….absolutely beautiful and the service was 5 star. We transferred to Sambambili Game lodge which was a small step below Kapama Karula in it’s luxury but still a terrific place to stay. All in all it was a terrific experience for us. We live in the US and it can be a little daunting to make decisions for a big trip like this through an agency that you aren’t familiar with. I had read all the reviews for Pembury and felt pretty confident it would all be ok and it was. They did a fantastic job! Thank you, Heidi!!!

Just a short note to thank you for your great assistance during our last week in SA. Everything fell into place and your arrangements all worked very well. The hotels in both Cape Town and Knysna were superb and the hire car, flights and excess luggage arrangements all went to plan. Last but not least, Lalibela was magnificent. Can’t fault their facilities, service, location or the client experience they provide. Excellent!! Will let you know if we ever think about coming back and would be happy to recommend Pembury to anyone who asks.

Pembury Tours provided excellent service, value for money and a fabulous holiday. We were recommended to Pembury Tours when we contacted Lalibela Game Reserve asking about a safari and planning a trip to South Africa. I looked at their website and reviews on Tripadvisor which were all positive. I e-mailed Pembury Tours and was contacted by Tammy Harding. What impressed us was the prompt response, the attention to detail and a real desire to get things exactly how we wanted. Paying money these days over the internet is always a worry. However, the systems Pembury Tours have in place worked well and were reassuring. All the accommodation was excellent. We had an unbelievable time at Lalibela, the staff were amazing, the food excellent and of course the animals and safari drives 1st class. Having Tammy at the end of a phone was reassuring just in case we had an issue. But the trip ran like clock work and every need taken care of. Well done Tammy and everyone for making our holiday a trip to remember.
