Abalone Lodge is a 4-star guest lodge situated on the magnificent ocean front of Hermanus. A combination of South African art on the inside & unsurpassed views to the outside mean that this guest lodge is unique in Hermanus. The Lodge has direct access to the well-known scenic Cliff Path that makes Hermanus the land-based whale-watching capital of the world. Abalone Guest Lodge is situated on Siever’s Point, a landmark seafront position midway between the town centre and the beautiful Blue Flag beaches of Hermanus.
There is a quiet, relaxed seaside atmosphere at the guest house, where each of the air-conditioned rooms is individually decorated and has panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the mountains or of the indigenous gardens. There are 5 suites with sea views, 2 luxury rooms with sea views, 2 luxury rooms with garden views and 4 standard rooms with garden views. Some of the rooms are inter-leading making them ideal for families. All rooms have a private balcony or patio. Bathrooms are spacious with basins, baths and separate showers complimented with luxury amenities.
Breakfasts are served on the patio in front of the Lodge, to make the most of the views across Walker Bay. There is an in-house spa offering health and beauty treatments, a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool.
