What a WONDERFUL trip this was.  After 2020 being out of the question for travel, we set our sights on travelling in 2021 and what a trip it was.  You cannot go wrong with a safari in Botswana – I don’t think it can be beaten.  On the Chobe River, in Savute and then the wildlife in the Delta – the rest was just icing on the cake. We will definitely be back in Africa – perhaps East Africa for our next safari adventure before heading back to Botswana in a few years time.  We will be contacting Pembury for both – that’s for sure! Thank you so much Gail and Pembury Tours in putting this wonderful safari together – we could not have done it without you.  Knowing you were there every step of the way and in contact at all times, really did put our minds at rest.    

Our travel advisor was Tammy and I highly recommend her services. She helped us plan a dream Africa Safari through Botswana and it was fabulous. She was patient throughout the entire booking process and helped guide us through the Covid requirements. It all turned out great. Desert and Delta camps are who she booked and we loved every one of them. Tammy should be your agent to book YOUR dream vacation to Africa.

I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you again for planning our trip to South Africa. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and I will certainly be leaving a positive review for Pembury Tours on TripAdvisor. Anjori and I also greatly appreciated your help rearranging the transfer service in Kruger.  Simbavati was amazing! Totally exceeded my expectations. We felt very lucky as well because when we told locals that we were going to Timbavati and staying at the Simbavati River Lodge, everyone reassured us that this was one of the best lodges. I hope to go back someday, and I will make sure to recommend to my friends and family in the meantime.

My husband and I recently returned from the THE MOST PERFECT honeymoon trip to South Africa, and we know for sure that it is due to the work of Heidi and of Pembury Tours that we had such an incredible experience. I worked with Heidi planning my honeymoon for almost 3 years. Due to COVID, our original wedding and travel plans were rescheduled, cancelled, and rescheduled again and again. Every single time we were forced to make the decision to postpone, Heidi was positive, supportive, and still remained excited about the event and the opportunity to make our dreams a reality even with a new date. She would tell you that by the time our honeymoon finally arrived, she was more excited than we were! Every single part of our trip that Heidi touched was perfect- from the several itinerary options that she versioned for us at the beginning all the way through the final airport transfer on our way home. She paid meaningful attention to our goals and our ideas about what we wanted to see/do/experience, created itineraries to choose from, and responded to our thoughts and feedback to design the perfect trip, as if she was reading our minds. The pre-event communications and preparation were exceptionally helpful to frame our experience, and the packet and details that met us upon our arrival in the country continued everything we could need (and more!) to orient ourselves to our trip. Throughout the trip, Heidi checked in via WhatsApp, and even communicated with some of our parents to help organize some ‘secret’ surprises for us along the way. And our parents have more wonderful things to say about her help organizing some meaningful gifts that were delivered to us at the perfect time! I was such a relief to literally just sit back and relax, and let Heidi’s planning or organization take control. The tour guides, the transfers, the check in process at each of our locations, etc.- was all expertly organized. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing the whole time! My husband and I are eager to be ambassadors for both the beautiful country of South Africa, as well as Pembury Tours. We could not have had a better trip, and have Heidi to thank for being at the helm of it all!

The South Luangwa was SO much more than we could have imagined! The size of the park was mind-blowing and I am not even sure if after 9 days we have seen it all! We had the most amazing time, the weather was perfect and the wildlife was abundant! The regular and different leopard sightings were the ultimate highlight and we cannot wait to get some of the images up in our home! The accommodation was amazing, such a relaxed and comfortable camp with everything we needed and such amazing staff! Thank you Anya again!

We cannot thank you enough for making our honeymoon an absolute dream! We absolutely loved the taste of South Africa we got and were so thrilled that out itinerary could include four days of spectacular safaris – the wildlife was amazing and the accommodation was so comfortable, we really felt so at home. Mauritius was everything we hoped for and more! Thank you for all of the advice on Mauritius and what was on offer there – we had such a fantastic time exploring and relaxing before heading back to our busy lives. Thank you once again! We will be back!

Thank you Kerry for everything! WE had the most wonderful time in Cape Town, we finally saw the breathtaking Victoria Falls and were blown away by the wildlife and scenery of the Hwange – what a great suggestion that was! We were able to tick off so many "bucket list" items and cannot wait to plan our next trip to Africa with you!

We LOVE Zambia! Thank you Melanie for planning this trip for us and for your perfect planning of everything. As you know we both love our photography and the leopard sightings in the South Luangwa in particular far exceeded our expectations. We had different but equally wonderful experiences in the two areas and were treated so well by all of our hosts and their teams. Lion Camp was incredible with wildlife surrounding the lodge all day and extremely comfortable suites. We loved your choice of the Lower Zambezi to go with the Luangwa that was first on our list and once again we had the best time! Thanks so much!
